Dannelle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Her desire is to help her clients approach life with a healthy paradigm. We all have “filters” which are formed from our own hurts and life experiences. Only viewing life from our own perspective often doesn’t allow for any change or growth because we generally don’t challenge our own thoughts and mindsets. This is where it is extremely beneficial to have another non-biased perspective. Counseling helps to retrain thinking patterns, behaviors, and emotions that are not serving a person well. We can all develop maladaptive ways of thinking and behaving as a reaction or response to life’s events. Dannelle is always focused on the practical aspects of promoting emotional wholeness, and offers tools to help encourage positive growth, healing, and change in her clients.

ONS offers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) courses that address two of the most common issues many people face: Insomnia and Anxiety. Dannelle is certified to teach a 5 week CBT class on Insomnia, which has been proven to improve sleep in 95% of the people that complete the course.  This class can be taken with a group or done individually. We also offer a 5 week CBT course that Dannelle has written which deals with Anxiety and how to identify the source and overcome the effects it may have on your life.
