Many insurance companies are starting to offer reimbursement for neurofeedback treatment. You will need to call directly and ask. ONS will gladly provide all necessary documentation for claim submittal, however, payment is required at the time of service. Many patients have had good success at getting reimbursed for a percent of their treatments.

Each person is unique and there is no definitive answer without evaluating the individual needs of the client. That being said, we will start out with a qEEG and 20 sessions of neurofeedback training. Many clients require additional treatments in order to get the full benefits of permanent change. We will evaluate progress on an ongoing basis and together decide what is best for you.

You will continue to take any prescriptions you are currently taking under the guidance of your physician. As your Neurofeedback treatment continues, you may find your symptoms becoming less and therefore the need for medication diminishes. In order to make any changes to your medications, you need to consult your physician. It is important to note, however, that Neurofeedback therapy can be done while on medication.

Neurofeedback can be used for a wide variety of reasons. Some of the most commonly treated disorders include: insomnia, anxiety, depression, ADD, ADHD, lack of motivation, and other mood disorders.
 We are increasingly using neurofeedback as a means of improving overall performance and memory as well. Studies have shown that SAT and ACT scores have improved simply from doing a series of neurofeedback treatments.

Anyone suffering from symptoms related to the above mentioned disorders who is over the age of 5 can benefit from Neurofeedback treatment. Because NFB treatment is training your brain to self-regulate, people often report improvements in areas they were not even seeking treatment for, such as increased motivation, better mood stabilization, and better focus.
